Hi everyone! Sorry for soooo little blogging lately, but like everyone else, time has been fleeting over the past few weeks! I hope that everyone enjoyed some wonderful holiday “down time” with family and friends… I know I have! Iactually can’t believe that 2011 is almost here!! I’m scratching my head wondering where this past year — actually — where this past DECADE went???!!! (If anyone knows, please fill me in! LOL) As I’ve said before, I know that time is continuous, but gee wiz
Well, with New Year’s Eve just a couple of days away, I wanted to share some family/kid-friendly party inspiration recently featured on ThePurplePug and the Childrens Party Network that included the wonderful ideas and talents of the East Coast team in a CPN-sponsored New Year’s Party challenge. A sampling of the wonderful images featured on these blogs show off some ideas that you can incorporate into New Year’s festivities whether you plan on staying “in” with the family or plan to invite some friends –along with their own “little ones” — over to your home to celebrate! Remember, even if the kiddos aren’t allowed to stay up (or simply don’t make it ’til midnight) adding a few kid-friendly elements to the evening will provide them with wonderful memories of bringing in the New Year like the “grown-ups!” Have fun, however you plan to celebrate and HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

What’s Black & White and red, yellow, blue & green all over!?
This fabulous Comic-Themed New Year’s Party “treats & sweets” table!!
Forget champagne!!! Bring on the sparkling Grape Juice in a fancy (plastic) glass rimmed with rock candy!
I totally forgot about the wonders of Silly Putty! What a great activity for the kids!
Thanks for the idea, Kristy!

Saw this too late for New Year’s! Well, there’s always 2011. Particularly like the comics-themed decorations and the “glammed up” kiddie drinks. Thanks for passing these along.
